Tell me what you think!

A Watchwolf Creations wine bottle cradle is a centerpiece. Compliment that work of art vintage with another worthy of the privilege of holding it. Show off your taste in wine and decor. Your Manzanita wine bottle cradle won't shout "Hey! Look at me!" But it will whisper, "Pssst. Check out the wine. And while you're at it, I'm pretty cool too."

A bottle of wine as a gift is always a good idea. But when the bottle is empty, what's left? You can give the bottle in one of those fine velvet bags but the bag does look a bit sad when the bottle's gone. Or you can give the bottle with a finely crafted Manzanita wine bottle cradle. When the wine is gone, the cradle is beautiful enough to stand on its own, whimsical and artistic. I always enjoy when a friend points to an empty cradle and says, "That's nice. What is it?" Then I put a bottle on it and it's always, "Oooh! That's really nice!"

All the cradles you will find are made with the same careful attention that goes into my canes. All these have a natural finish. All are beautiful. Most hold one bottle.  I make quite a few for two and some that will hold more, but finding the wood for this is very rare since all these are made of a single piece.

The wood for this cradle was a real find. The grain all along the front shows deep rich colors and texture. And the shape of it is perfect for a two-bottle cradle. The two bottles sit close together at the same angle, in opposite directions, making a perfectly balanced pair, with the rear sitting just slightly higher than the front. What better display for the red and white wines you will offer your guests? They'll ask, "Where did you get this?" and you'll smile and say, "It was a real find."

This Wine Bottle Cradle is unusual in both its shape and size. The two arms form a circular shape, wrapping around the bottle literally cradling it. The length of the piece makes it very suitable for larger  or longer bottles such as a magnum or a Sangria. The colors are different as well, a light golden with a fascinating stripe of grain on one arm and a series of knots on the other. It gives a sturdy, masculine appearance. If you are looking for different, this one is what you're looking for.

When I found this piece of Manzanita I had no idea what it would be but I knew it was going to be very special.  But a three-bottle Wine Cradle!? Yes, this is all one piece, naturally shaped just as you see it. I only had to hold two branches together to for stability. The rich red and gold colors and distinct grain only make it more amazing. It's rather large, 28 inches wide and 18 inches deep. It holds the bottles somewhat steeply, making it more suited for a short-term display than long-term storage. Giving a special gift to an avid wine lover? This is the one for you.

This piece forms an interesting a V-shape, as it curves around upon itself in an upward arc with the body of the bottle resting at the high point and he neck at the center. The remaining part forms a solid base.. There is a deep split in the wood along the base while the arm is wonderfully smooth. The golden color is almost completely devoid of the usual grains present in most Manzanita, also unusual for Manzanita. There is a wonderful cross-section of the branch it was cut from at the end in deep red, accenting the otherwise soft color of the wood.
