Tell me what you think!

It wouldn't be fair, in fact it would be a bit vain for me to claim Watchwolf Creations the only unique and original thing around. Definitely not! There are so many other people and places that are so very unique and original in their own right, doing their own thing.

Watchwolf Creations is, in my humble opinion, a special entity, a unique enterprise with original ideas and ways of doing things. And so I am a bit particular when it comes to business and cultural associations and who I would want to draw attention toward with links from this site.

These included here are special, as I said, unique and original, my personal favorites, and with which I am very proud to be associated. I hope you will take the time to check them out. Click on the pictures to be taken to the site.

Origami is not a "craft". it's an artform. And Origami Designs is dedicated to the art. Whether it's making gifts, creating magnificent art, teaching the art to people young and old alike, or using her talents for the benefit of the community and worthy causes, Barbara Turner is a master of the art and worthy of attention. I strongly encourage you to check out this site. It's unique and original and very special.

When people ask me where I'm located I tell them "Go west to the Pacific coast, then turn north. It's the last exit before Heaven." The 30-Mile Club is a community of artists and businesses who are, in fact, 30 miles from Crater Lake and very proud of where we live, work and play. If you've ever been to Crater Lake or seen pictures you know it is one of the most scenic of our National Parks. That doesn't stop at the park limits. The 30 miles between Chiloquin and Crater Lake is an astounding landscape filled with wonderful things to do, places to see and art to enjoy. Visit this website and see why we are so proud of the Best 30 Miles in Oregon.

As I have said, Crater Lake National Park is indeed one of the most unusual places to visit. Formed as a result of the cataclysmic eruption of Mount Mazama thousands of years ago, the lake now supports its own unique ecology. It is the deepest fresh water lake in the country and one of the deepest in the world. The breath-taking scenery is well worth the trip. And, oddly, it seems to remain one of the best-kept secrets of our National Park system. Next to Sequoia National Park, these are my favorite places in the country, never over-crowded and preserved in it's natural state. Visit this site and start planning your vacation to this awe-inspiring place.

Two Rivers Gallery is a non-profit organization located in the Chiloquin Community Center in Chiloquin Oregon, very near to Crater Lake National Park. It is worth the visit if you are ever in that area. And what a great gallery it is! Regional and Native American art, pottery and much more, all for sale at very reasonable prices. No matter what your tastes, there is surely something here for your home. Even to visit and browse, the things you will find at Two Rivers Gallery will intrigue you. It's worth the 2 mile side trip from the direct highway to Crater Lake from the south.

I met Trudy Estes at the Wolf Mountain Sanctuary in the Lucerne Valley in California. Sharing the same love for wolves and compassion for these wolves in particular, it wasn't hard for me to get to know her. And with her sparkling personality and seemingly endless enthusiasm for the joys and wonders of life, I could not help but to love her just as quickly. It is no wonder her art is so wonderfully refreshing and full of feeling, it is true ones art is a reflection of the artist. My art pales in comparison to her provoking images. Please take the time to have a look at her site and browse her stunning collection.

Stonewood Gallery is associated with West Coast Juniper, a fine company that harvests juniper trees in the most responsible way, and sells the lumber and many high quality products made from it. The owner of these enterprises, Mark, is an amazing man that I respect a great deal. The gallery itself is a remarkable assembly of some of the highest quality art and hand-crafted items you will find anywhere. I am honored he has placed of some of my products in his store among some very fine company.

The Winter Wings Festival comes to Klamath Falls annually. Sponsored by the local chapter of the National Audubon Society, this festival is quite the educational experience for anyone interested in birds and bird-related topics. There are keynote speakers, workshops for birdwatching and photography, photo contests and much more. You will also find many great vendors there offering a range of products related to avian and other wildlife. You will find Watchwolf Creations there this year and every year to come.

Dennis Anderson is a remarkable man I recently had the privilege of befriending at the 2010 Winter Wings Festival in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He's an extremely accomplished photographer with an impressive resume to back it up. I had the honor of gleaning quite a few tips from his deep reservoir of talent and knowledge, for which I am very grateful and anxious to put to use in my WolfPrints. You've got to check out his site. It's as impressive as this humble and personable professional.
