I could never match the work nature put into the wood of this beautiful cane. The dark grain against the deep gold-red wood looks almost as if it was painted on, so fine are the lines. The wood is perfectly shaped as well, featuring gentle curves in the shaft and a handle ideally shaped for your grasp. There are beautiful knot holes along the front of the cane that unfortunately aren't visible in the photos. Altogether this cane is a work of art, one I call a masterpiece.

This cane is thicker and more masculine than most you will find here. I generally don't use such large pieces for a cane since weight can be an issue for people who need to use a cane. This cane weighs 1 1/2 pounds. Yet the shape and color of the wood simply cried out to be shown off in someone's hand as a cane. I have made the handle smaller than one might expect for a cane of this size, which gives it a great hand-grasp. The best feature of this cane, aside from the rich gold color and sharply-contrasting grain, is the spiral twist with a sharp dog-leg bend about two-thirds down the shaft.
